The best way to get and stay motivated is to set up a written record of your body measurements, so that you can actually see and track your results. Using the body measurement charts on this page, you will weigh yourself, measure your waistline, record your measurements and compare your body measurement results at regular intervals. It is valuable to determine your starting point on a body measurement chart so you can continually monitor and evaluate your progress.

Take your weight and body measurements at the beginning of your program. Record the results on the body measurement chart that we have provided for you. It is downloadable in PDF format. Then take your body measurements again 10 workouts later and then again periodically. We also recommend that you undergo body fat testing before beginning your exercise/diet program.
Some sporting good stores or health clubs offer body fat testing, or you can purchase an inexpensive set of body fat calipers for body fat testing at home, quickly and easily!
This tool will document the shape changing results you are getting from your exercise and diet program. Remember to consistently undergo body fat testing and record the results throughout your program.

Record your beginning body measurements in Column One on the body measurement chart.
After 10 workouts, weight and measure yourself again. Record these measurements in Column Two on the body measurement chart.
For recording additional body measurements and weight loss, we have included an extra column. Periodic measuring is necessary to determine continued progress and lets you see your results in an easy to read format – the body measurement chart. It also allows you to modify your fitness/diet program as needed. For the most accurate records, always use the same scale, measure the same place on your body and weigh yourself the same time of the day.
